How Does the JAMB Extraction Process Work?
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) schedules three batches a day for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). Each candidate will be assigned a unique question for each day. JAMB sets the same questions for each candidate sitting for their examination on Day 1, and different questions for candidates sitting for their examination on Day 2. Day 1 JAMB UTME consist of three different batches but the same questions will be used for each batch. The only change for each candidate is the numbering of their examination questions.
JAMB reshuffles each candidate’s questions to make it look different from their neighbour’s work. Sequel to this, most candidates are left with the impression that all questions are not the same for each candidate which is a wrong impression.
The only changes in the JAMB Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) for candidates sitting for the Day 1 examination are the numbering of their questions and JAMB subject combinations. Each candidate’s question numbering is designed to differ from their neighbour’s numbering of questions. This is why each candidate is assigned a unique sit number ahead of the examination. The assigning of the sitting number will enable the board to carefully shuffle each candidate’s numbering of questions to differ from their neighbour’s questions and to keep all candidates’ questions do not tally with all their nearby neighbour’s questions.
This pattern for the arrangement of Questions and Answers has been ongoing for years. Meanwhile, this pattern of the numbering of questions has made it easy for Examcode Administrators to be able to obtain each candidate’s questions and answers before the scheduled examination time. This will enable Examcode Administrators to only solve their examination questions once each day following each question numbering for each candidate.
Therefore, candidates who subscribe to Myexamcode.net and submitted their details to Examcode Database will receive both their examination questions and answers3 hours before the scheduled examination time.
